I fell in love with fitness and weightlifting six years ago after a pretty scary health issue. I wasn’t taking care of my body and, just two weeks after my 17th birthday in 2017, I found out I had blood clots in my lungs. That low point in my life marked the beginning of an amazing journey in health and movement.

I got into bodybuilding and started going to the gym daily. Eventually, I canceled my membership and built my own garage gym, which was the start of my first evolution—GarageGainzCole. I loved training in creative ways with minimal equipment and ended up putting on 25 pounds of muscle in just two years. I was quite the mass monster…

Then came 2020. I went for a long run in the Minnesota winter, injured my ankle, and developed a second blood clot—this time in my leg. I was put back on blood thinners and told by doctors I’d need them for life. That’s when I decided to lose some weight, but I still had a poor diet and was pushing my body to the limit in the gym every day.

A year later, I moved to the beach in Florida and started focusing on healing both my body and mind. Around 2022, I experimented with plant medicine (psilocybin mushrooms) to help process trauma and develop more self-love. I stopped lifting weights, got into yoga, and even went vegan. I lost a lot of muscle and, ironically, became pretty unhealthy.

That led to my most recent evolution—NatureFitCole. During my vegan phase, I started eating very clean, organic food, which has carried forward into today. I now focus on fueling my body with only the highest-quality foods. Eventually, I added pasture-raised meat, dairy, and eggs back into my diet and have slowly regained healthy muscle.

I also began connecting more with nature and listening to my body—resting when necessary, stretching, and releasing any negative energy I was holding. I spent a lot of time in the sun, grounding myself to the earth, and embracing how we were designed to live. Now, I’m officially one year medication-free! I move my body daily and truly love my life.
​​​​Movement has always been my medicine. I love bodyweight exercises and training in natural settings, proving that you don’t need fancy equipment or a gym membership to get in the best shape of your life. That’s why I created the 30-Day Bodyweight Challenge—using just one resistance band and your bodyweight to build muscle, shred fat, increase flexibility, and improve cardiovascular endurance.
It’s my passion. I put a ton of energy into creating 30 follow-along video workouts packed with creative and unique exercises that can be done anywhere in under 30 minutes. Along the way, I also wrote an eBook about how to connect with nature and the ways it can heal us.
